Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00am to 4:30pm (10-hour Shift)
*Subject to rotation Monday through Thursday and Friday through Monday (approximately every 4 weeks)
OVERVIEW:
As a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, you will play an important role in supporting the overall maintenance and groundskeeping tasks of the factory such as in-depth repairs, sanitation, and aesthetics. You will work extensively within all areas of building maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, building electrical, repairing walls and floors, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of non-GMP areas and equipment including front offices, warehousing areas, etc.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Perform routine general HVAC maintenance
- Manage third-party contractors to schedule and implement necessary repairs, obtain quotes, etc.
- Seasonal exterior work may apply
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 -7 years of facilities maintenance required, GMP experience strongly preferred
- HVAC experience required. HVAC certification strongly preferred
- Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry experience strongly preferred
- Must have experience and advanced knowledge in installing lights, tile, carpet, metal, and wood framing, drywall, painting, doors, toilets, and grounds maintenance
- Experience working with CMMS systems preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation required
SKILLS:
- Ability to independently develop complex technical plans based on analysis of complex datasets used to identify trends and improvement activities
- Ability to prioritize activities to meet plant expectations and strategic objectives concurrently
