Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.

 

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Production Clerk is responsible for supporting the department.  Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

 

Schedule 6:30am - 3:00pm (Monday - Friday)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Update and create technical documents for the assigned Production Line to include, but not limited to, Operating Instructions (OPI), Texas Standards, Visuals, and Labels
  • Supplies purchasing, receiving, storing, and inventorying for the entire site
  • Support other functional areas as assigned in their Continuous Improvement Projects. Involved with day to day administrative functions which may include, report generation, responding to inquiries, and other clerical tasks
  • Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
  • Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic mathematical skills
