Purpose:
Lead and optimize warehouse operations across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Nestlé's global warehouse standards. This includes managing service providers, overseeing contract compliance, and implementing safety, health, environment, and quality regulations during Shifts.
 
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, adapt to market changes, and support New Customer Engagement developments. They are responsible for delivering efficient and cost-effective warehousing solutions while ensuring outstanding service delivery and maintaining Nestlé's Good Warehousing Practices.
 
Role & responsibilities:
 
1) Responsible for ensuring that warehouse shift operations run as planned material reception
and delivery is executed as per the plan and allocate priorities, basis the plan.
2) Anchor labor planning and resource allocation for day today planning of the warehouse activites
3) Right sizing shift operations to reduce eliminate overtime and resource deficit
4) Work with shift team to follow up on the productivity performance actions. Also design the training and development module for new hires and refresher training for old team members
5) Implement the Safety Framework in the factory and be responsible for taking pro-active measures to eliminate instances by the BFS observations,Also, be responsible for the pro-active checks coming from Gemba Walks, Safety Checklist, Racking insepctions etc
6) Execute actions and GAPs coming out of QMS reviews. Also, execute the Good Warehouse Practices collaboration with warehouse and other teams.
7) Understanding of KPIs specific to warehouse operations, such as inventory turnover, fill rates, order accuracy, and on-time delivery metrics
 
Preferred candidate profile:
 
1. Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred) with over 2 years of relevant operational experience in warehouse management, demonstrating proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications.
 
2. Proven track record in ensuring compliance with legal obligations and Nestlé GWP, managing safety, health, and environment regulations.
 
3. Expertise in optimizing warehouse costs while delivering outstanding service levels.
 
4. Demonstrated ability to implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean methodologies.
 
5. Proficient in managing relationships with service providers, ensuring contract compliance and vendor performance.
 
6. Strong background in structured inventory management and reverse logistics operations.
