Field Operations Excellence Manager
Location: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic | Regional Scope
Purpose
Lead and develop a high-performing team of First Line Managers and Medical Delegates to ethically drive recommendation, advocacy and prescription of Nestlé Infant, Toddler and Maternal Nutrition products. This role is responsible for defining regional engagement strategies, optimizing field force effectiveness, managing key stakeholders, and delivering sustainable business growth through best-in-class execution, while ensuring full compliance with Nestlé policies and local regulations.
A Day in the Life of...
- Develop and execute regional field force strategies to strengthen engagement with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Institutions (HCIs) and other key stakeholders.
- Lead, coach and develop First Line Managers and Medical Delegates, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance and continuous improvement.
- Drive excellence in field force execution, ensuring effective territory management, customer engagement and demand generation.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Key Prescribers (KPs), medical associations and healthcare institutions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement and improve the effectiveness of omnichannel interactions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of business priorities and customer-focused initiatives.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, customer insights and performance KPIs to optimize business decisions and field execution.
- Manage resource allocation and budget investments to maximize impact and return on investment.
- Ensure compliance with the WHO Code, Nestlé policies and all applicable local regulations.
- Monitor business performance, market share and key commercial indicators to drive sustainable growth.
What Will Make You Successful
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) – mandatory and critical for success in this regional role.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Relevant professional experience will be valued above academic specialization.
- Proven experience leading medical promotion, pharmaceutical sales, healthcare field force or demand generation teams, preferably at a regional or multi-country level.
- Strong people leadership experience, including coaching, talent development and performance management.
- Demonstrated success driving business results through field force execution and customer engagement strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen and business orientation, with the ability to translate strategy into action.
- Experience influencing and engaging senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of compliance standards, healthcare regulations and ethical business practices.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data, CRM systems and performance indicators to improve execution and decision-making.
- Ability to manage complexity, prioritize resources and lead teams through change in a dynamic environment.
