Medical Marketing Specialist

Location: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

 

Purpose

As a Medical Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and executing medical communication strategies that strengthen Nestlé Nutrition's scientific reputation among Healthcare Professionals (HCPs). You will bridge scientific insights, brand strategy, and healthcare engagement to deliver impactful programs that support business objectives while ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and corporate policies.

 

A Day in the Life of...

  • Develop and execute medical marketing initiatives aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Analyze HCP insights, market trends, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and optimize engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Compliance, Marketing, and external agencies to create scientific and promotional materials for HCPs.
  • Coordinate scientific events, congresses, webinars, and educational activities targeting healthcare professionals.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, medical societies, and external partners.
  • Support the execution of omnichannel engagement strategies through CRM and digital platforms.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and KPIs while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all activities and communications comply with regulatory requirements, the WHO Code, and Nestlé policies.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) – mandatory and a key requirement for success in this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Nutrition, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Medical Marketing, Healthcare Marketing, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of scientific communication and healthcare professional engagement.
  • Experience managing scientific events, campaigns, agencies, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms and SAP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
