Position Summar:
Learn and develop the skills in the design of processing and packaging equipment and manufacturing line taking into consideration the safety, quality and line performance.
Provide technical inputs to team members and factory staff applying his/her academic subject expertise to practical applications at the manufacturing shop floor.
Aid plant engineering to drive continuous improvement or capital projects from inception through all the stages feasibility and project handover.
Assist in the implementation of Asset Maintenance Management systems, and other performance improvement activities to reduce improve line performance, reduce TDC and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a working knowledge of the Engineering Projects & Process to execute projects with minimal supervision.
• Lead &/or participates in small scale shop floor studies by collecting data, and effectively analyzes the data, draw conclusions and makes next step recommendations to improve productivity / efficiencies.
• Handle confidential information exchange with third parties according to business practices.
• Build and document knowledge around industry standards such as GMP, food safety, hygienic engineering, FDA etc.,
• Provide accurate and on-time support to operation with effective (quality, cost and on-time) and sustainable solution.
• Work cross functionally, and effectively communicate ideas and findings orally and in writing.
• Employee will be responsible to follow and uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedures as pertains to role.
Experience and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (Preferred mechanical, food or chemical engineering)
• 1+ years of experience
• Knowledge of quality, safety, and hygiene requirements
