Job Title: Porter
Porters are responsible for the general housekeeping of the GMP zone within the Factory.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

Schedule: Rotating 2/2/3 Schedule

Starting hourly pay of $17.50-18.00 based on experience (night shift premium available)

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:
-
Report any safety incidents/accidents and understand and follow all Company and Plant Safety Policies and Procedures.
-
Complete Master Sanitation Schedule Tasks as assigned.
-
Follow all GMP guidelines and report any Food Safety concerns.
-
Follow all Safety guidelines and wear proper PPE.
-
Restock and maintain handwashing stations.
-
Clean common area floors and walls.
-
Empty common area trash.
-
Restock and maintain water stations.
-
Refill and distribute chemicals.
-
Receive bulk chemical deliveries.
-
Replace cleaning tools on the floor as needed.
-
Perform duties in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
-
Additional duties as required or assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
HS Diploma or GED, preferred
-
Ability to stand and work in a fast-paced environment for up to twelve hours.
-
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
-
Ability to lift, kneel, bend over, squat, stoop and carry 50 lbs.
-
Ability to work safely.
-
Willing to learn Forklift operation.
-
Willing to learn Floor Scrubber operation.
SKILLS:
-
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
-
Demonstrate communication, organization and listening skills.
-
Excellent attention to detail, neatness and follow through.
-
Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.
- Experiencing stocking and maintaining cleaning stations and tools in a manufacturing setting.
- GMP experience
- Experience handling bulk chemical deliveries
- Familiar with wearing PPE
