POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Electrician, you’ll help keep manufacturing operations running safely and reliably by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and equipment. You’ll work hands-on with plant equipment, support maintenance and improvement projects, and partner closely with mechanics, operators, and other teams to resolve electrical issues. This role plays an important part in safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the facility.

 

PAY:

  • Pay: $36.57
  • Shift Differential:
    • 2nd shift; $0.75/hr
    • 3rd shift; $1.25/hr
  • Nestlé Quarterly Bonus Structure

 

SHIFT / SCHEDULE DETAILS:

  • Shift:
    • 2nd shift: 2:00PM to 10:00PM
    • 3rd shift: 10:00PM to 6:30AM
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including controls, drives, PLCs, and safety devices
  • Improve equipment performance through control and program updates
  • Support mechanics and operators with electrical diagnostics and repairs
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Update electrical schematics and documentation to reflect changes
  • Support installation and startup of new equipment and facility upgrades
  • Participate in shutdowns, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and environmental requirements at all times

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 - 3 years of industrial electrical or automation experience, preferably in a food or consumer goods manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • State Electrician License, ISA CCST Level 1 Certification, or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand English for safety procedures, work instructions, and documenting maintenance activities clearly
  • Physical requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): Able to lift up to 50 lbs, move throughout your shift, varying temperatures, and work safely in loud areas and confined spaces
  • Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, overtime, and extended shifts as needed

 

SKILLS:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical distribution, controls, and automation systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Comfortable working with industrial controls, drives, HMIs, and safety systems
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
  • Team-oriented with clear communication and a continuous learning mindset
  • Additional experience with PLC programming or industrial automation preferred

 

Pay: $36.57 per hour

 

Bonus Eligibility: Yes

 

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
