Position Summary:
As a member of the Human Resources Department, the Training Coordinator provides administrative support to the training function. The Training Coordinator organizes, schedules, and plans learning events, creates course materials, procures supplies, and prepares notifications. The Coordinator manages training tracking through our Learning Management System and maintains training records. The coordinator conducts data entry, data analysis, and creates training reports as needed. You will manage administration of, and ensure completion of, onboarding plans, new hire and qualification training. The Training Coordinator assists in the application for Local, State, and Federal Training Grants and Funds, as well as compiling any supporting documentation required.
This is a factory HR role working on site 5 days per week. The schedule is 6pm-2am Monday through Friday. There is a need for flexibility to cover other shifts at times as well as weekend hours when needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support Training Programs
- Manage Training Tracking, Maintain Training Records and Documentation according to applicable internal and external requirements. (LMS)
- Perform data entry to record, plan and schedule training using Learning Management System
- Update LMS as needed including assigning curriculum, adding and deleting new courses, etc.
- Maintain training plans for new hires, onboarding, and qualification purposes. Ensure timely completion and proper sign offs.
- Coordinate activities for training events including scheduling training rooms, sending notifications, scheduling attendees and trainers, creating and preparing course materials including tests, evaluations, handouts, and other training aides.
- Coordinate snacks and meals for participants as needed.
- Assist in preparation of application and documentation for training grants and funds
- Compile, analyze, and organize training data and reports
- Purchase training supplies and manage stock on hand.
- Maintain and publish training schedule and or calendar
Project Management
- Participate on project teams as directed
Requirements and Minimum Education Level:
- AA, AS, or Administrative Certification Preferred
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Experience managing a Learning Management System preferred
Experience:
- 1 year of proven success in administrative role.
- Experience working as part of a large, global organization is preferred.
- Factory or Distribution Center training experience preferred.
Skills:
- Microsoft Office
- Experience with learning management solutions and/or the use of databases to support training and skill progression if highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in working with all levels of organization.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, proofreading, editing and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated to take the initiative to find solutions.
- Demonstrated Time and Project management experience required.
- Skilled at multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities and deliverables.
- Requires customer orientation, commitment to flawless execution and detail orientation.
The approximate pay range for this position is $52,000 to 67,500. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
