Line Operator – Full Time. All Shifts, Multiple Levels. 

 

Seeking a motivated Line Operator to join our team. Responsible for maintaining, preparing, and operating production machines.

 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available and opportunities for overtime.
  • Starting hourly pay range of $18; final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or geographic location.

  • Yearly reviews and raises.
     

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Operates, monitors, and adjusts scales, meters, hoists, applicators, machines, and processing equipment.
  • Loading, unloading, and processing ingredients as prescribed by the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Prepares equipment for next shift and product runs including set ups, tear downs, and changeovers.
  • Maintains control charts including documenting, interpreting, verifying, and printing information.
  • Communicates with Supervisors, Line Leads, and other Operators on quality and production of material.
  • Conducts conveyor line checks for foreign material and product checks for quality.
  • Supports breaks for other Operators.
  • Performs or assists Maintenance with minor repairs or adjustments to machinery and equipment.
  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts, required.
  • High School Diploma/GED, preferred.
  • Must be able to read basic/standard English words and sentences to understand signs, policies, procedures, safety rules.         
  • Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences in English to obtain and relay information on policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others a collaboration as a team.

 

SKILLS:

  • 1-6 months of previous food manufacturing and/or Machine Operator experience.
  • Ability to do heavy lifting in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to do basic math and use calculators.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Speak, write, and understand English; Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful.
     

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $18.71 – $19. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
