Sanitation Technician I – Full Time, 3rd Shift   

 

Seeking a motivated Sanitation Technician II to join our team. Responsible for sanitizing and maintaining production equipment in a fast-paced environment.   

 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU: 

  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday – Saturday with days off during the week.   

  • Starting hourly pay of $20.69, plus shift differential.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:  

  • Maintains a positive working relationship with Sanitation Lead and fellow team members including timely communication of all operational and/or safety issues.  

  • Start-up, operate, sanitize, and inspect production equipment.  

  • Timely pre-flight of equipment including adjusting heights, timing, and positions of equipment.   

  • Follows sanitation processes and procedures, HACCP, and safety protocols.  

  • Assists supervisor and leads in the coordination of freezer allergen clean up.  

  • Knowledge of chemicals, applications, titrations, related documentation, and safety protocols associated.  

  • Completes proper Sanitation/CIP process documentation.  

  • Communicates with Supervisors, Line Leads, and teammates on cleanliness and status of equipment.  

  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.  

  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). 

 

REQUIREMENTS:  

  • 3+ months of industrial sanitation experience, required.  

  • Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts, required.  

  • High school diploma, or GED, preferred.   

 

SKILLS: 

  • Previous food manufacturing and/or Machine Operator experience.  

  • Basic mechanical aptitude including the ability to use hand tools and lubricate equipment.  

  • Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out and Confined Space principles.  

  • Ability to do basic math and use calculators. 

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.  

  • Speak, write, and understand English.
