The Senior Human Resources Coordinator will provide advanced administrative and coordination support to the Schaumburg HR team and partner closely with site leadership to ensure consistent execution of HR processes and programs.This individual is responsible for coordinating a range of HR activities and projects that support employees and operations at the site. This position is on-site.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
HR Services & Support:

Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the HR team, including communications, records management, and meeting coordination.

Support HR team members with administrative and operational needs as required.
-
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including system access, workspace assignments, and related logistics.

Support recruitment activities across all role levels, including scheduling, coordination, and candidate logistics.
Reporting & Payroll System Management:
-
Oversee payroll and leave administration for a large factory.
-
Serve as the subject‑matter expert for Kronos and time‑keeping, supporting payroll accuracy, reporting, and employee data tracking.

Prepare and maintain HR reports using SAP master data, including new‑hire, absenteeism, and organizational structure reports.

Administer site‑level payroll activities as required by location.
-
Support additional HR projects and initiatives, including announcements, rosters, employee contact lists, PTO calendars, special reporting, and annual activities such as succession planning and talent review materials.

Track and manage departmental expenses and purchasing, while identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and ways of working.

Manage the site job posting system and track employee position changes throughout the full lifecycle.
Employee Relations:
- Responsible for planning, leading and managing several employee and community events per year and ensuring that each event is representative of the company’s image, culture and mission. Assist with coordination and administration of cultural assimilation groups and events.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative assistant or HR experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and take initiative, including in situations with limited supervision.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.

Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with familiarity with Visio preferred.

Experience working with SAP preferred, with the ability to learn new systems and tools as needed.
The approximate pay range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
