Position Summary

Are you a dynamic and strategic thought leader and aspire to be a part of a multifaceted and collaborative cross-functional team?  Do you love crafting marketing and business strategies that drive new household penetration growth, market share and loyalty? Are you interested in being the Marketing leader that brings to life a Hispanic and broader Multicultural strategy to unlock consumer value and meaningful portfolio growth for the leader in Coffee?  If so, this role just might be for you.

We are looking to welcome an extraordinary marketing, brand and business leader with a passion for Marketing Communications, a strategic business mindset and a passion to enlist and engage new and existing coffee households.

This critical role is responsible for leading our Core business, brand, consumer and communication strategy for NESCAFÉ and its portfolio of brands as well as managing Seattle’s Best Coffee – a local coffee gem.  You will help to set a vision, key objectives and content strategy, and will lead marketing plan execution for our Hispanic & Multicultural communication, Taster’s Choice Defense and media approach as well as the above-the-line and below-the-line tactics.  You will be a champion for our personalized targeting initiatives including influencing our CRM approach and omni communications roll-out while driving optimization to improve return on overall advertising spending.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a direct report to ensure the successful delivery of core plans and programs
  • Accountable for ensuring the successful measurement of core base programs through a combination of Marketing Mix tools as well as regression simulations
  • Brand leadership accountability for the Seattle’s Best Coffee business.  This will involve leading strategic business planning, on-going portfolio management as well as defining innovation renovation strategy to optimize the core coffee business in both Roast & Ground and K-Cups
  • Uphold strong partnership with global and U.S. teams- both internal and external, to build and execute critical and core programs and campaigns to bring to life our Sustainability agenda, superior coffee equities and global strengths to win with the U.S. coffee consumer

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing, brand management or product management role
  • 5+ years’ experience leading the development of new or existing products or strategies from conception to implementation
  • 3+ years’ experience managing two or more budgets
  • Bachelor’s degree or four years US military experience in a related MOS/C
  • MBA Preferred 

Experience

  • Experience managing a direct report (preferred)
  • Strong communication and creative evaluation skills 
  • Agency relations experience strongly preferred
  • Fluent knowledge of marketing vehicles and marketing fundamentals strongly preferred
  • Comfortable presenting to Senior Leadership
  • Strong analytical and technical skills; very comfortable with syndicated data
  • Excellent knowledge of financial planning, forecasting assortment planning and inventory management
  • Demonstrated agility in analyzing business trends and financial metrics, including sales, return on investments, and profit and loss
  • Must be able to work in a matrix environment and collaborate cross functionally
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Functions effectively with ambiguity and change
  • Previous renovation or innovation strategy and/or Sales experience an asset
