Job Summary and Mission
This job contributes to NCP’s success by leveraging customer, category, and shopper insights to develop product specific Go-To-Market strategies with our Starbucks Seasons portfolio. Serves as the conduit between NCP and our Consumer Product Goods (CPG) Customer teams and translates category marketing plans while serving as the voice of the CPG customer into the category. This position is responsible for delivering the category’s business plan with our field sales organization and managing an analyst dedicated to the business.

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Leadership - Developing organizational capability and modeling how we work together:
•    Lead Starbucks Seasons business as a priority within the Go-To-Market strategy to achieve all annual goals and objectives.
•    Translate marketing plans into strategies that build brand equity, grow market share and deliver cohesive aligned programs.
•    Develop and deploy clear communication and cohesive business plans to the field selling organization.
•    Establish a strong customer-focused approach to communicate the strategies and objectives of our key customers into the category to ensure their requirements are built into the Go-To-Market plans.
•    Leverage customer, category and shopper insights to provide direct input into the brand’s P&L based on customer merchandising and sales promotion plans.
•    Leverage the scale of all the NCP brands creating cross brand activities, cross brand promotions, etc.
•    Co-create with marketing on innovative ideas/initiatives within all parts of CPG organization

Planning and Execution - Developing strategic and operational plans with collaborative partners (Brand, Supply/Demand, Packaging, PMO, Category & Shopper Marketing), managing execution, and measuring results:
•    Understand the key business drivers of customers to identify opportunities for growth
•    Develop and manage the CPG Go-To-Market master plan for respective brand to ensure sufficiency to deliver corporate goals.
•    Creates a unified approach for all business sales plans which includes the company and the customers perspective

Partner Development & Team Building - Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams:
•    Direct management and personal development of direct report (Analyst).
•    Collaborate with brand team members to jointly achieve business results
•    Educate multi-functional business partners on requirements of customers
•    Enable individuals and customer teams to execute sales fundamentals with excellence.

 

Summary of Experience
•    7+ years of multiple levels of experience: leveraging multi-functional resources, either selling a product, managing a category, or building sales marketing plans within a global company.
•    Experience executing product strategy and sales plans
•    Experience managing people, preferred
•    Experience working in the CPG industry, preferred

 

Basic Qualifications
•    Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•    Ability to persuasively sell to customers and internal business partners at all levels of the organization
•    Proven track record of building diverse, collaborative relationships across multiple functions and levels
•    Ability to quickly master the business and how your role enables teams to sell
•    Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
•    Must be able to think strategically and execute brilliantly
•    Exhibits strong business acumen and financial discipline when constructing and selling ideas to negotiate and reach win/win agreements.

The approximate target compensation range for this role is $140K to 170K . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
