Nestle Coffee Partners is looking for a transformational leader to be the next Director of Shopper Marketing for our strategic customers. This individual will lead a high performing team in creating the omni-channel strategy and execution of all Shopper Marketing efforts for all brands across NCP’s CPG business. The ideal candidate is someone that can thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and can create innovative plans and programming to drive significant growth in the Coffee category with strategic customers. 

 

The Director of Shopper Marketing will be a key member of the Category & Shopper Solutions (CSS) leadership team, responsible for inspiring shoppers to discover an elevated coffee shopping experience through inventive solutions that unlock the potential of At Home Coffee for NCP and our Customers. The Director of Shopper Marketing helps achieve this by leading a team that is responsible for a $30MM+ shopper budget, management of multiple agency relationships and serving as a key liaison between the field and HQ. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

This role drives NCP growth and elevates the shopper experience by: 

  • Creating innovative omni-channel marketing platforms and initiatives, including the development of new digital/omni solutions that fuel growth strategies.
  • Translating shopper insights and trends into integrated programs, including media-to-shelf, portfolio and customer programs that engage and convert the shopper 
  • Partnering with field teams to support customers’ joint business planning by developing Shopper Marketing and Experience initiatives that integrate equity and customer strategy as key enablers of the holistic plan 
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across NCP and Nestle, including eCommerce, Brand Marketing, Commercial Development, Field Sales, and Agencies to lead growth strategies 
  • Leveraging shopper program measurement and shopper insights to drive vision that optimizes investments and establishes executional playbooks. 
  • Continually resolve process and capability gaps within team and organization to deliver best in class strategy and activation in a rapidly evolving shopping landscape. 
     

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • BA in Business or Marketing, MBA preferred 
  • 10+ years across Shopper Marketing, Brand Marketing or Customer-facing leadership roles in CPG 
  • Proficency in Consumer/Shopper Marketing, Professional selling, Retail Media Networks, and omni-channel commerce. 
  • Highly collaborative team player with strong interpersonal/communications skills and ability to create a network of influence 
  • Aptitude for creative storytelling & content creation
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, strong analytical acumen to monitor strategy/execution and optimize ROI. 
  • Organizationally Agile: Proven ability to thrive in well-established and matrixed CPG organizations as well as environments with less structure and process.
  • Significant experience leading others and track record of attracting, retaining, and developing strong talent & teams
