Job Summary and Mission

This role will be responsible for leading advanced analytic and analysis activities to guide decision-making process with deep expertise across specific areas such as categories, channels and/or customers, assortment/4Ps and retail execution. As the Sales Analytics Lead supporting our Sales, Commercial Development and Category teams, you will provide reporting, insights and recommendations for strategic direction based on knowledge and analysis of assortment and mix for brands and customers.

The Lead Sales Analytics contributes to Nestlé Coffee & Beverage Division by establishing and maintaining a comprehensive portfolio of reports, dashboards, and data management processes to support strategic, tactical, and operational business decisions across Coffee & Beverage Divisions Sales Organization. The role will work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and leadership in Sales, Finance, and Category Insights to ensure the most actionable reports and analytics are in place to support data-driven decisions.
 


Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

•    Manage demand and analytics production, establish and enforce analytic standards, guarantee quality, reliability, and timeliness of advantage diagnostic and predictive analyses. 
•    Provide assistance in planning, designing, developing, and implementing efficient analytical systems and processes to help our Coffee & Beverage Division better understand and predict sales trends and bring valuable insights to the sales organization. 
•    Lead the governance of the metrics, calculations and template library to ensure streamlined and standardization of new requirements.

Summary of Experience

•    Extensive experience leading and developing advanced reporting solutions in PowerBI.
•    Adapts communication style, level of detail and format to the specific setting to be effectively communicate with technical and business audiences  
•    Implementing data quality processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data sources and reports by leveraging automation and monitoring capabilities

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•    Proficient knowledge of Data Management and Data Modeling in Azure with SQL
•    Preferred Experience with consumption-based tools such as IRI and Nielsen
•    Preferred scripting languages like R or Python.
•    5 years of analytical experience as an analyst or as a manager in an analytics-related function.
•    4 years of sales related CPG experience is a plus.
•    Experience with learning new tools, systems, and processes and then developing and executing training plans for new tools, systems and processes across the organization. 
•    Demonstrated knowledge of business driving technology solutions (i.e. Nielsen, PowerBI, BW, Source)
•    Knowledge of core Business Processes and Fundamentals (Sales/Distribution, Merchandizing, Customer Planning and Managing, Financial Reporting,Training)
•    BS/BA required

The approximate target compensation range for this role is $130K to 150K  . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
