The Senior Brand Manager, will lead a team of strategic brand professionals driving comprehensive management of the P&L. This role will drive the development and planning of consumer, customer & market led category, product and marketing strategies and plans for our multi-brand portfolio generating sales to deliver annual operating goals exceeding $700M. Responsibilities include portfolio, B2B & B2C marketing planning and management including brand & promotional planning and portfolio optimization to stay ahead of consumers and the marketplace.
- Ability to set performance targets and drive promotional/category level performance of marketing activities, enhancing Solutions Lab category and product performance.
- Improve and enhance capabilities in data-led assessment, leading the development of strategic plans grounded in customer/consumer insights.
- Represent the Solutions Lab organization to establish the plan roadmap, critical strategies to win and best practices to optimize ways of working.
- Establish and lead implementation of marketing learnings and insights that aid continuous improvement, driving prioritization and/or course corrections to existing strategies as needed.
- Lead NCP SL development and performance culture building functional capability, foster collaboration, team work and performance excellence.
- Serve as primary lead to balancing and maintaining critical external partnership and vendors including Starbucks and creative agency relationships with Nestle business strategies.
Planning and Leadership - Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution and measuring results:
- Collaborates with cross-functional brand team, channel development, operations, sales and other critical business partners to build, deliver and drive results of planned programs.
- Drive and manage team delivery of flawless end to end project management via close collaboration with a wide range of cross-functional teams
- Effectively tracks, analyzes and communicates plan on a regular basis to inform future and annual planning efforts.
- Identifies and communicates best practices and leading process improvement where needed.
- Owns and responsible for effective program budget management.
Summary of Experience:
- 6-8+ years product and business/marketing management strategy experience in B2B environments.
- Min 6 or more years of managing complex large-scale business, product or marketing projects
- 6 or more years managing and developing direct reports
- Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience driving and inspiring insight-led plans to deliver strong, impactful creative product meeting consumer and business objectives.
- Strong analytic abilities centered on consumer and customer intelligence and data. Ability to synthesize insights and demonstrate strong presentation and storytelling in a clear and concise narrative.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, driving organizational and planning clarity and applying strong problem-solving principles. Drive decision-making favoring compromise and alignment over consensus
- Functions effectively with ambiguity and able to work in a highly matrix environment.
- Strong communication skills with keen ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver timely results.
- Ability to set expectations and hold individuals and team members accountable.
- Seeks and provides honest, transparent feedback
- Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills with adaptable approach
The approximate pay range for this position is $170,000 to $190,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
