Position Summary

Nestlé Coffee Partners – Solutions Lab is a strategic division within the Nestlé USA organization that brings a portfolio of brands including; Starbucks Coffee, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Chameleon Organic Coffee and Teavana, to where our customers live, work, and play.  We use this collection of products and brands to curate experiences for our customers. We are a lean and dynamic business unit focused on driving creative and profitable solutions for the Nestle enterprises and our business partners. 

The NCP Solutions Lab organization is looking for a Sr. Associate Brand Marketing with experience in product management and a track-record of success growing business and improving returns via development of the product portfolio. This role will develop strategic business cases and manage the product portfolio to achieve annual financial and business goals, while laying the foundation for future growth. 

 

Responsibilities

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  • Develops and manages product-line business plans, crafting the business case for new products and programs to support growth and profitability targets, and making recommendations regarding product objectives and strategy, positioning, pricing, and packaging.
  • Identifies and implements initiatives to improve consumer relevance and financial delivery of existing products through optimization of cost, product performance, packaging, or price-pack architecture.
  • Drives product strategy and commercialization against operating plans and budgets by analyzing product performance vs. expectations and providing meaningful action plans to address variances in performance against annual plan.
  • Leads regular updates on initiative performance and makes recommendations to optimize.
  • Provides direction to Supply Chain organization for forecast planning based on deep category knowledge.

INNOVATION

  • Leads cross-functional teams in the ideation, creation and development of new products and product-related marketing opportunities, from concept to commercialization.
  • Defines product and innovation strategies reflecting competitive and consumer trends and market needs.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in product or brand management
  • 3+ years experience in a role supporting marketing, brand management or product management and leading the development of new/existing products or strategies from conception to implementation
  • 3+ years experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of US military experience required, Master's degree in Business, Marketing, MBA preferred
  • Analytical thinker with ability to confidently present financial objectives and desired business outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams
  • Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, assortment planning and inventory management
