Nestlé Coffee Partners – Solutions Lab is a strategic division within the Nestlé USA organization that brings a portfolio of brands including; Starbucks Coffee, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Chameleon Organic Coffee and Teavana, to where our customers live, work, and play. We use this collection of products and brands to curate experiences for our customers. We are a lean and dynamic business unit focused on driving creative and profitable solutions for the Nestlé enterprises and our business partners.
The Strategic Pricing Analyst will contribute to Nestlé Coffee Partners' long-term growth and profitability through support of strategic pricing initiatives, insights, and implementation. As Strategic Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution of pricing strategies and the development of pricing insights to drive effective implementation and process integrity. Additional responsibilities include day-to-day management of all pricing activities, troubleshooting, and managing exceptions, as well as performing ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives. This position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive strategic priorities. This role is based in the Seattle WA office with option to work from home several days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer pricing, including discounts, rebates and special programs, price changes and direct and indirect pricing models.
- In close collaboration with sales, manage onboarding of new accounts.
- Own the pricing and rebates shared inboxes, managing time effectively to research, troubleshoot, and respond according to priority, while also ensuring a 24-48 hour SLA.
- Serve as a lead contact for customer account teams for pricing recommendations and ad-hoc support.
- Provide support for new pricing initiatives, including gathering requirements from cross-functional teams, testing and implementation.
- Effectively provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support operational, financial and strategic business inquiries.
- Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes.
Requirements & Skills:
- 1+ year of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree, or an additional 2 years of relevant work experience. Bachelor’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related discipline preferred
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office and data analysis programs (e.g., SQL Server, Power BI, Alteryx or Tableau).
- Creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to take calculated risks
