Position Summary

As a lighthouse for e-Commerce, the Nestlé Global Amazon Acceleration Team (GAAT) sits at the forefront of Nestlé’s e-Commerce ambitions. As the #1 Retailer in the world and one of Nestlé’s top customers globally, Amazon is quickly changing consumer expectations of shopping, purchasing, and receiving goods and services. The role of the GAAT is to shape Nestlé’s global end-to-end strategy, capabilities, and execution so that we can win shoppers at the speed of Amazon.

This newly created role will work directly with every member of our small cross-functional team to deliver E2E business insight across: Product Portfolio, Supply Chain & Operations, Finance, SEO, Marketing Campaign Performance, Digital Shelf Management & Optimization, Sustainability.  

The Senior Analyst will leverage analytical prowess and ingenuity to connect disparate data points to draw meaningful conclusions that will influence how our businesses drive their portfolios on Amazon – across every geography and every business globally. Curiosity, Initiative, Story-telling capabilities and a strong drive to unlock challenging puzzles will all be critical to success in this role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create New Processes:
Assist in the development and implementation of processes and new capabilities 
Prioritizing and tracking investments across e-commerce projects
Measure Impact thru Reporting and Analysis:
Improve selling capabilities and add customer value through improved analytics, insights, and continuous improvement
Building Standardized and Ad-Hoc Reporting/Analyses and new Dashboarding Capabilities
Cross functional support for Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance on data, forecasting, and reporting.
Conduct benchmark analysis for retail or category performance on major initiatives
Collaborate with Business Analytics team and Technical Teams in maintaining data warehouse object
Develop and maintain sophisticated tools for analysis for complex go to market business strategies
Be an Agent for Change
Training of cross functional users to facilitate change management efforts 
Deployment support for new capabilities (Hypercare)
Document technical requirements, data catalogs and business definitions for analytical solutions.

 

EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of experience in E-Commerce or Marketing Analytics – Analyzing, drawing insight & recommending actions on product portfolio, digital content, digital advertising, digital shelf metrics, consumptions metrics
Finance & accounting – experience analyzing P&L and business performance analytics
Supply Chain – functional knowledge of Order Processing and Forecasting processes preferred

 

Key Competencies:
Insight (Rise above the numbers to identify issues and opportunities)
Initiative in driving Business Intelligence Acquisition and Management (resourcefulness in sourcing information to respond to business needs – must demonstrate ability to self-learn)
Business Acumen (ability to understand overall business strategy and drivers; able to design and perform analytics to address business questions vs needing to be told step by step process)
Strong storytelling, oral and written communication and project management skills required
Technical expertise building out dashboards, data models, data mining, and audience segmentation  
Excellent/Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
