We are looking for an Engineering Executive (Filling & Packing) to implement, coordinate and supervise the maintenance and improvement of the factory's plant and equipment building and land excluding electrical equipment and instrumentation in order to ensure that the factory's production targets can be meet.

A day in the life of Filling Packing Engineering Executive

• Ensure execution of QMS and HACCP SOP's .Trouble-shoots and resolve line quality deviations in maintenance and equipment.  Maintain line hygiene.
• Take prompt corrective action in Engineering aspect in major quality defect.
• Manage all routine maintenance include implementation of AMM schedule (PMO3)
• Control of the production line routine M&R budget. Trouble shoot and resolve line engineering deviations, including 'routine' breakdowns.
• Follow prescribed guidelines, control materials, labour, General Factory Overhead (GFOH) and M&R usage variances
• Coach, train and motivate team in target achievement
• Maintain good work discipline with fitter and operator. Appraise their performance yearly.
• Develop staff, identify & conduct training
• Maintain industrial harmony & comply to Labour Laws
• Implements SHE SOP's and identify hazards
• Participate in Continuous Improvement

What will make you successful

• Minimum 3 years experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
• Position requires a recognized engineering diploma or apprenticeship certificate with minimum 5 years working experience in related field
• In depth knowledge of food processing plant and technology
• Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering
• Analytic skills in Problem Solving
• Communication & networking
• General understanding of financial analysis and relevant business drivers
