Position Summary:
Occupational Health Specialist will be driving the health and wellbeing agenda at the Sheikhupura Factory. The role focuses on workplace risk management, health promotion, and medical case management to ensure a safe, healthy, and engaged workforce. He/she will be responsible for implementing the Market Health Strategy, setting measurable objectives, and embedding a culture of health and wellness across the site.
A Day in the life of a Occupational Health Specialist:
• Promote the vision of employee health and inspire ownership of wellness across all levels, championing a behavioral approach to health and safety.
• Implement Nestlé’s health policies and standards, while continuously improving health programs, tools, and practices to enhance compliance and performance.
• Conduct training and coaching sessions to empower employees and team leaders to take accountability for health within their areas of responsibility.
• Strengthen the factory’s health network by fostering awareness and providing guidance on health risk assessment and management. Identify and share best practices from within and outside Nestlé.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of employee health services (e.g., health surveillance, fitness-for-task assessments, and closure of health risk gaps).
• Leverage data and surveillance tools to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Adhere strictly to WHO and local regulations, including compliance with the Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes, ensuring no direct contact with pregnant women or mothers of infants and young children in a business capacity. Strictly abide by the WHO and Local Code in the execution of his/her job in its letter and spirit. Will be prohibited from making any direct contact with pregnant women and mothers of infants and young children in their business capacity.
