A day in the life of Logistic & Customer Facing Manager
  • Understand customer KPIs, agree targets with customer and report regularly against these targets
  • Align and raise awareness of the customer's & Nestlé’s Supply Chain
  • Define and lead a common customer strategy with Sales & Distributors (Long Term Partner) and across Supply Chain team (Data Management, Demand Planning, Warehouse Team, Distribution and Transport Team)
  • Coordinate multi-functional teams from concept creation to final delivery
  • Drive initiative for other business units to improve efficiency in Order to Cash
  • Highlight the business opportunities for both Nestlé and Customers, creating competitive gaps through supply chain value creation and on-shelf availability
  • Drive supply chain customer efficiency initiatives and represent Nestlé at trade Supply Chain bodies
  • Optimum planning & satisfaction of customer’s demand by ensuring effective order management, fulfillment of orders in the most cost effective & efficient way
  • Demonstrate ability to build, develop and motivate a high-performing customer-oriented team to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Collaborate with Sales Channels, define joint improvement plans with Customers to enhance Nestle's ability to "Win In Every Store"
  • Assign Mini Project (related to Function Goals) to Channels Head/ Key Account Executives as a platform to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Partner with 3PL in warehouse management and implement optimization of route to market in compliance to safety measures as per Zone requirements
  • Drive proactive communication with the team and encouragement of ongoing teamwork
What will make you successful
  • At least 5 years experience in Supply Chain Operations & Management including Customer Service
  • Understanding of financial impact including costing in distribution and creation of value chain
  • Experience in collaborative business development projects with Trade (Retailer, Distributors, etc.) and Marketing / Sales
  • Experience in leading projects and initiatives that require a Commercial and Supply Chain understanding and knowledge
  • Has analytical & strategic mindsets
