Position Summary
A day in the life of Production Supervisor
  • Driving Fat-blend and Compounding Total Performance Management (TPM) progress with accurate daily data on Run time(RT), Estimated Unplanned Stoppages(EUPS), Planned Stoppages (PS), Occupied Time, Unoccupied Time, Preventive Maintenance Order (PMO) classification, Minor Stoppages (MOS), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time Between Stoppages (MTBS) in accordance to Asset Intensity (AI) measurements
  • Monitoring and controlling Visual Loss Map on quarter basis, to develop Operational Master Plan (OMP) strategies to eliminate or reduce Machine, Man, Materials, Method losses and Total Delivery Cost (TDC)
  • Technical Competence Unit (TCU) ROH & UNBW suppliers. Affiliates of FERT & HALB, commercial and regulatory units
  • Implementing SHE Risk prediction and controls in order to promote Brothers/Sisters' Keeper mindsets within Dispensing, Fat-Blend and Compounding section and all departments, at large
  • Initiating improvements by collaborating with Industrial Performance (IP) to ensure accurate Nominal run rate, Line Labor Standard (LLS), Line efficiency as well as efficient material and man workflow
  • Applying and formalizing GSTD with collaborations from E&M, Quality, IP or any other relevant Departments to eliminate breakdown, source of contamination (SOC), process bottlenecks and inefficiency so as to evaluate their root causes for actions
  • Applying and formalizing DMAIC with collaborations from Application & Technology Group (ATG), Quality/Vendor, and other relevant Departments on Milk powder characteristic hindrances and chronic material-incompatibility downtime on fill and pack operation
  • Overseeing "Dispensing, Fat-blend and Compounding's health" by ensuring daily Tagging of abnormalities, Cleaning & adherence, Standard routine, Goal Alignment (GA) and its inferences to the Line efficiency/Quality KPIs
  • Developing of Operators' functional competencies through Standard Routine, Principles-of- Operation, SOP/WI, Ingredient Quantity Listing (IQL), OPL through Functional Competency Matrix updates
  • Implementing SHE Risk prediction and controls in order to promote Brothers/Sisters' Keeper mindsets within Dispensing, Fat-Blend and Compounding section and all departments, at large
  • Allocating responsibilities within Dispensing (MICDISP), Fat-blend and Compounding manufacturing teams by the aligning Detail Schedule Plan (DSP) to MICDISP/Fat-blend and Compounding Process Order (PrO) for delivering productivity and efficiency on Semi-Finished Good (HALB), Rework powder (ZRWK) volume. This includes ad-hoc Non-commercial trial runs and their specific targets
     
What will make you successful
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Production Management, Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferably in food or pharmaceutical industry
