We are looking for a Sensory Specialist to manage sensory activities within given product categories, provide appropriate sensory expertise and knowledge to ensure success in the I/R activities throughout the I2L stages of the project, from Identify to Deliver.

A day in the life of...

  • Provide guidance to AGs and Market HO/Factory Sensory on setting up the consumer-centric sensory specifications (including acceptability limits). Identify sensory references for panel training whenever relevant for the project.
  • Define clear and time-bounded plans and prioritize resources available. Manage studies: plan, design, then analyze and present results  in line with best practices and with impact to the cross-functional team
  • Responsible for NQMS process continuous improvement and application for sensory support. Ensure high quality results through panel maintenance and performance (panel performance KPIs) , and participate in the recruitment and training of panel members.
  • Define clear and time-bounded plans and prioritize resources available. Manage studies: plan, design, analysis and results presentation in line with best practices and with impact to the cross-functional team. Ensure collaboration with technicians, panel leaders and external agencies in order to ensure lean and transparent execution.
  • Management and training of sensory panels

 

What will make you successful

  • 4-5 years of experience in sensory evaluation, preferably in FMCG from R&D side. A broader experience in operations or business side is a plus
  • Academic background in food science / food technology (scientific / technical and statistical knowledge).
  • Able to lead various projects concurrently
