Relevant Key account management / Field sales experience

Position Summary

You will act as our Brand ambassador together with our strategic partners to implement key sales and trade marketing plans to meet corporate objectives through the partner's offline and online, (excluding Lazada, Shopee & Amazon), stores. You would also be required to coach, coordinate and ensure the performance of Nespresso 'Mobile Locations' our temporary pop-ups across the island together with our strategic partners.

A day in the life of Trade Executive (Nespresso Singapore)

As our Trade Executive in Nespresso Singapore, you will involve in executing the distribution strategy in line with our market plans and actively proposing local opportunities to increase our sell out performance and distribution at POS level with our Trade partners to achieve our sales performance target consistently.  You will also be required to lead the activation of mobile locations, manage and optimize the budget efficiently to optimize the ROI of each activation in accordance to our Brand requirements. 

You will collaborate actively with internal cross functions to bring our Nespresso ultimate coffee experience at our POS to our customers.  The Trade Executive will also need to provide support, supervision and coaching to the operation teams through daily field visits and to ensure operation excellence in compliance to our Nespresso guidelines.  You will foster strong partnership with our appointed outsource agency in recruiting, training, coaching and motivating the workforce, concurrently managing the budget allocation for the sales promoters.        

What will make you successful

  • At least 3 years of relevant field sales experience with trade marketing or key account management for at least 2 years in the distribution of high end or fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment
  • Experience and understanding of online trade activities is an added advantage
  • Budget management and performance optimization in maximizing return of investment (ROI)
  • Proven experience in strong leadership and people management
  • Nature of the job would require someone with an education background of degree in Business Administration / Economics / Marketing or extensive practical experience in modern trade
