To support our Culinary Innovation Team @ NPTC Research & Development Foods Singen, we are currently looking for a Culinary Specialist (m/w/d) to start as of July 2023.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing food / culinary products which appeal to the local taste, texture and appearance for a defined market or region
  • Following and scouting new food trends using personal networks 
  • Creating new concept ideas for future food products, leveraging the expertise of a cross functional team
  • Developing recipes for culinary products according to development requests: i.e. recipes, flavour and texture profile, costs, composition, ingredient statement (local legislation), safety, and packaging 
  • Contributing to various creative sessions with specific culinary knowledge 
  • Teaching cooking and cuisine understanding 
  • Involvement in all culinary lunches, dinner and catering events, exceeding guest expectations by creating inspiring product and food experiences 

 

Our Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship as a cook or culinary degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in top ranked ( Michelin, Gault Millau), high-end restaurant businesses preferably in a global environment.
  • Experience team player working in an international team, developing foody experiences through bespoke culinary skills and expertise
  • Brings a broad knowledge of the modern global food landscape (ingredients, ethnic cuisines, regional specialities, creative plating, foody pics etc.)
  • Product development experience / competencies on industrial scale in any food category is an advantage
  • Proactive, cross-functional working style
  • Fluency in English is mandatory (spoken and written), German is a plus
