Within Nestlé’s worldwide research and development network, the Nestlé Product Technology Centre FOOD (NPTC) with the central seat in Singen, Germany, is responsible for the innovation and renovation of culinary products. The NPTC Food Singen is the home of food and is bringing culinary art to a level that can be practiced at home or used in a professional kitchen. Position Summary

To support our Product Development Team, we are currently looking for a Project Manager in Product Development (FMCG) (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

A day in the life of...

As a Project Manager (m/f/d) at NPTC Food, you will be responsible for the efficient, effective, flawless End-to-End management of R&D projects. Hence, there are several interesting activities waiting for you:

 

  • Plan and lead medium size R&D projects with a high impact on the business
  • Manage a cross-functional and multidisciplinary team to achieve the project defined Key Success Criteria’s (mitigation plans, time and risk management) and deliver against the business case 
  • Interact proactively with stakeholders (e.g. operations, business lead) and negotiate with Nestlé decision makers and business partners to effectively control scope changes and ensure the overall project objectives 

What will make you successful?

  • Master in Food Technology or similiar
  • Profound experience in project management and product development in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), ideally experience in operations or corporate functions
  • Ability to lead multiple projects in a cross-functional environment, while delivering significant business results
  • Experienced in stakeholder management, drives decision-making by effectively networking and providing recommendations for relevant stakeholders 
  • Ability to systematically identify issues, structuring problems and finding solutions 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to develop a business case together with commercial lead
  • Skilled in risk management, risk/ impact analysis and development of mitigation plans 
  • Very good English skills (spoken and written)
