A day in the life of a Scientific Group Leader (m/f/d)
- Innovation Driver: You are responsible for driving innovation in Food by developing differentiated product ideas and technical solutions that provide a competitive advantage in flavor, appearance, texture, and physical performance.
- Strategic Collaborator: You align closely with R&D Category Leads on the strategic why, what, and when of innovation initiatives, ensuring clear priorities and effective implementation.
- Market Implementer: You lead the implementation of innovation ideas into the marketplace, focusing on feasibility, speed, and value creation.
- Process Optimizer: You drive optimized ways of working by adopting digital tools and continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaboration Builder: You foster strong external collaboration with suppliers, academia, and partners to accelerate innovation while evaluating benefits and trade-offs against internal research.
What will make you successful
- Academical Background: You hold a MSc and/or PhD in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or similar areas .
- Extensive Experience: You have several years of experience in both R&D and Operations, equipping you with a well-rounded perspective.
- Leadership Skills: You have the capability to lead and develop a group of people, fostering their growth and enhancing team performance.
- Operational Insight: You possess a solid understanding of the operational setup of FMCGs, enabling you to manage resources and budget requirements effectively.
- Training Commitment: You have followed a training plan, demonstrating your dedication to continuous improvement.
- Resource Manager: You are adept at managing resources and budget requirements, ensuring that priorities and objectives are met efficiently.
