A day in a life of a Sensory Technician
- As a Sensory Technician (m/f/d), you play a vital role in the coordination, organization, and maintenance of our dynamic Sensory Lab. You will be responsible for overseeing and assisting expert sensory panel sessions and other sensory activities .
- Your meticulous attention to detail ensures that the Sensory Lab adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness and complies with all relevant Nestlé guidelines and required documentation.
- You will take ownership of maintaining the inventory of Sensory Lab materials and supplies, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources for our sensory evaluations.
- Your expertise extends to assisting Panel Leaders in creating sensory tests using specialized software and facilitating IT sensory sessions, contributing to the smooth functioning of our sensory evaluation processes.
- In collaboration with our Consumer Sensory Product Experience Specialist and Sensory Specialist, you will actively support in sensory training, sensory glossary development, panelist screening, and other sensory-related activities as needed. You will contribute to shaping the sensory experience for our products.
What will make you successful
- After your studies, you have gained relevant work experience in kitchen assistance activities.
- Experience in laboratories is preferred, either in a classroom or work environment.
- You have already demonstrated strong organizational skills combined with your ability to work well in a team environment.
- Also, you feel comfortable using MS Office programs including Excel, Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
- In addition, you are fluent in German – English is a plus.
