Your Responsibilities:
As a Site Quality Specialist you will contribute to implement, communicate and maintain Quality & Food Safety Management System in mixed environment of productions and R&D trials at our pilot plants and bench scales.
ASSURE FOOD SAFETY
- Lead food safety programs in the areas of HACCP, PRP's, QMS, Validation, Verification, internal audits etc.
- Provide technical support on food safety programs and quality requirements in the development of new products, innovation work or new business activities.
- Ensure on-time delivery of key documents (HACCP, QMS and any other required quality documents depending on project scope)
- Support for evaluation of new equipment/process and related change management activities.
SUPPORT COMPLIANCE
- Ensuring compliance to internal and external requirements through the implementation of programs such as HACCP, PRP’s e.g. sanitation and pest control, GMP’s, prevention of cross contamination, etc.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects, nonconformities or other quality failures.
- Support internal audits program
STRIVE FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Agility with the multiple digital platforms available to leverage and drive improvement - PowerBi, POKA, DMO/MMS, SAP.
- Lead problem solving, identification of root cause by collaborating with necessary departments and follow-up of non-conformities closure.
ENSURE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPETENCIES IN QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY
- Develop and execute training on HACCP, food safety plans, zoning plans etc.
- Ensure proper communication and understanding of PRP and hygiene rules in production, pilots and rapid prototyping areas
- Develop and/or update standards and guidelines based on business priorities, using latest knowledge, methods, standards, trends
What will make you successful
- University degree in a related field (Food Technology; Manufacturing; Microbiology).
- Knowledge of microbiological food safety, including emerging pathogens, detection methods and control practices.
- Practical experience with conducting HACCP studies and implementing HACCP plans. Additional experience with pathogen monitoring, and factory hygienic practices preferred.
- Excellent Knowledge of quality systems (ISO9001, FSSC22000, GMP and GLP), including designing and implementation
- Very good user knowledge of Office, SAP, Visio and PowerBI.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus.
- Strong planning, organizational and prioritization skills
