Position Summary

We invite you to join our Communications Team as Corporate Affairs Manager Bulgaria — a key role in building trust in Nestlé through impactful corporate initiatives and strategic communication.

Your Main Mission will be to drive the development of Nestlé’s trust and reputation in Bulgarian society by communicating corporate flagship initiatives in cooperation with the business, linking corporate functions, categories, brands; employer branding communication.

 

 

Your Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Lead external corporate communication strategy and execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutions, authorities, NGOs, and key opinion leaders.
  • Manage media relations and serve as the company’s point of contact for all media inquiries.
  • Act as communication leader for corporate initiatives across paid, earned, and owned media.
  • Manage corporate communication budget effectively.
  • Develop and execute communication plans for CSV and Sustainability, in collaboration with operational.
  • Collaborate closely with the Internal Communication Manager SEE to ensure consistency between internal and external messaging.
  • Support employer branding and Nestlé people stories to strengthen corporate identity.
 
 

A Day in the Life of Corporate Affairs Manager:

  • Develop and implement corporate communication strategy (Corp Comm, Public Affairs, External Affairs) tailored to the Bulgarian market.
  • Create compelling communication tools and media mix for corporate flagship concepts and company purpose.
  • Plan and execute corporate programs in collaboration with internal stakeholders, assigned agencies, and external partners (NGOs, experts, government bodies).
  • Ensure consistent messaging of corporate and brand purpose across all communication channels.
  • Proactively manage external partners to maximize impact and value.
  • Identify and manage potential issues to build trust and prevent crises — both product and non-product related.
  • Align communication efforts with business priorities, including corporate categories, brand linkage, and employer branding.

 

 

What will make you successful:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a communications, public relations field; marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations field or equivalent
  • Fluent in Bulgarian with strong written and verbal expression
  • Proficient in English - both written and spoken
  • High communication and presentation skills – verbal and written
  • High proficiency in Paid and Owned media relations
  • Proactive, result focused and team-oriented personality, no stranger to multi-tasking;
  • Developed organizational and project management skills.
