Position Summary

The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in implementing sourcing strategies at the local level, managing P2P channels, and supporting supplier development. This position ensures alignment between market requirements and above-market category strategies, contributing to cost optimization and compliance with Nestlé standards.

 

A day in the life of a Procurement Specialist

  • Gather and analyze business requirements, providing insights to Local Business Partners and sourcing teams.
  • Support execution of sourcing strategies within the market, ensuring adherence to Nestlé’s Supplier Code.
  • Conduct data retrieval and analysis to identify improvements in ordering processes and P2P channels.
  • Interface with local suppliers for development and switch-out activities as directed by sourcing teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate sourcing plans into local budgets and price planning processes.
  • Assist in risk analysis and mitigation plans for Procurement Ensure Supply (PES) processes.
  • Actively contribute to innovation, renovation, and cost improvement initiatives post-award.

 

What will make you successful?

  • Higher education degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain.
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, risk management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, P2P channels, and compliance standards.
  • English level: Fluent.
