What to expect for the 2024 Nestlé USA Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP):

 

At Nestlé USA, our Supply Chain team is motivated by the desire to deliver world-class service and support to our trusted retail partners. We are passionate about our company’s four key Ways of Winning –Speed, Agility, Collaboration, and Courage. We strive to efficiently and effectively distribute our products “wherever and whenever” needed, while fulfilling our commitments and delivering outstanding value to our customers. Our unique two-and-a-half-year program gives individuals the opportunity to develop and gain experience through three rotations in different parts of the Nestlé Supply Chain Organization. Roles in Nestlé USA Supply Chain span end-to-end across the value chain, from supplier sourcing through production and delivery to our customer. We offer our employees the opportunity to work across multiple businesses, factories and 2,000 products.

 

You will begin your journey in the Supply Chain Center of Excellence in Solon, Ohio. You will be there for six months learning the foundations of Supply Chain. Your next two rotations will each be one year long. One of them will be centered in a Distribution Center or Factory setting. The other will be a corporate role focused in one of the various subfunctions (Such as Integrated Fulfillment, Planning, Deployment, Supply Chain Excellence, or Customer Facing Supply Chain, etc).

 

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Supply Chain concentration or related degree (Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or Management Information Systems or Agribusiness)

• Degree completed by June 2024

• Preferred Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

 

Experience Requirements:

• Preferred Supply Chain or related internship experience

 

Additional Requirements:

• Available to start the program beginning June 2024

• Ability to relocate to Solon, OH for the first rotation and the ability to relocate of additional moves for remaining rotations in a corporate, manufacturing, or distribution center setting

• Able to demonstrate strong communication skills, persuasive abilities, leadership capabilities and strong analytical skills

• Able to demonstrate resiliency and ability to work through significant ambiguity

• Able to work well within a team

• Interested in working on various business projects requiring research, cost analyses, and engagement of stakeholders
