Position Summary

The Associate Accounts Receivable is responsible for effectively managing payment exceptions to ensure the accuracy of records of receivables from trade customers and serves as the primary point of customer contact related to customer remittances in the Order to Cash flow and performs cash application activities for businesses not supported by the CoS.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Trade Receivable resolution of Payment Application: 

Resolve payment exceptions escalated by the CoS within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Process and submit clearing requests from the Credit and AR team to the CoS Payment Application team

Collaborate with Customers, Credit CoC, and CoS Payment Application and CoS Collection teams to resolve remittance issues impacting payment application.

Execute payment application for businesses not supported by the Center of Scale.  

Drive and encourage continuous improvement mindset applying NCE methodology

Assist on department projects and perform other duties and special assignments as required.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

Undergraduate degree strongly preferred

Accounts receivable experience required

Availability to work beyond the regularly scheduled hours

 

EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable preferred

Bachelor’s degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent work experience.
