The TAG Center of Excellence Data Analyst will be responsible for conducting data analysis and reporting, supporting data-related tools, and building and managing Power BI dashboards and reports. This role involves analyzing data to identify trends and insights, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining existing dashboards.

Additionally, the analyst will support portfolio management analysis for Nestlé USA.  The goal is to connect business problems and opportunities to analytics solutions that drive value. The analyst will embed analytical solutions into decision support tools, enabling better decision-making. This role will also serve as a key connector among business stakeholders.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. Develop presentations and project status reporting appropriate for their intended audience.
  • Support Tools: Provide support for data-related tools and systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Power BI Dashboards and Reports: Build new Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements. Manage and maintain existing dashboards and reports, ensuring they are up-to-date and meet the needs of the organization.
  • Portfolio Analysis:   Tracking progress of I&R portfolio against key metrics, trends and performance indicators.
    • Lead and/or collaborate with others to design and maintain portfolio data tools; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
    • Support in the preparation of presentations and reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and recommendations for Portfolio Management.
    • Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop standards for data governance.
  • Application Support:
    • Support the application, execution, and continuous improvement of NUSA’s portfolio management processes and tools.
    • Member of NUSA Quickbase network and Lead for TAG Quickbase network.
    • Manage the Power BI SuperUser Network
  • TRAINING / DEVELOPMENT:   Coach TAG functions in using tools, dashboards and reports.  Provide analytics knowledge and support to the TAG function and other as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and working with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.  CPG data analysis experience desired.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery in Excel. Proficiency in Microsoft Tools, Power BI and Quickbase. Experience with other data visualization tools is desired.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other departments to understand and address their data needs.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of process design and execution, and the ability to integrate analytics solutions into existing business processes.  Ability to solve data problems and generate solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Facilitation and Presentation: Good facilitation and presentation skills, including training delivery. Ability to compose compelling data stories to support I&R Initiatives.
  • Continuous Learning: Proactive approach to learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies in data analysis and visualization. Proactively networking within larger NUSA IT and Analytics Community to understand upcoming technologies and prepare for future changes.
  • Initiative: High initiative, self-starter, and able to work with limited supervision.
