POSITION SUMMARY
As the Associate, Consumer Experience (CX) you are the architect for bringing the brand to life by translating deep consumer, customer, and cultural understanding into compelling brand strategies and experiences that drive growth. Through impactful communications, distinctive brand identity, meaningful consumer engagement, and strong value propositions, you help shape how the brand shows up across the consumer journey. Working closely with both the brand Product Experience (PX) team and cross-functional teams, you ensure the brand's story, experiences, visibility, and investments work together to strengthen brand equity, create competitive advantage, and deliver business results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Consumer, Category & Customer (3C) Understanding
- Support the development of consumer, category, and competitive understanding to inform brand strategy, communications, and consumer experience plans.
- Execute campaign pre-testing, optimization, and learning plans to improve communications effectiveness and strengthen consumer engagement.
- Contribute to audience strategy, consumer portraits, and journey mapping to improve consumer engagement across touchpoints.
- Support in market campaign testing, optimization, and learning initiatives to enhance communications effectiveness and consumer impact.
- Track and synthesize creative and campaign performance metrics to inform future brand-building decisions.
Brand Building Fundamentals
- Support the development and activation of Brilliant Brand Fundamentals, including brand essence, big idea, brand territories, and foundational brand documents that guide consumer-facing strategies.
- Execute consumer-facing creative assets and deliverables aligned to brand meaning, consumer funnel strategies, and brand territories, ensuring consistent and impactful brand experiences across key touchpoints.
- Help bring brand territories to life through communications and experiences that build trust and transparency with cultural relevance while reinforcing a consistent brand identity across creative executions.
Unforgettable Communications & Agency Management
- Execute campaign builds, brief development, creative activation plans, and promotions in alignment with defined brand strategy, ensuring connectivity and consistency across all consumer-facing touchpoints.
- Lead execution of marketing communications across channels, including PR, influencer, social, CRM, community management, and owned digital experiences, while supporting audience activation and organic content development through media performance across planning, measurement, analytics, and optimization.
- Partner with agencies of record to execute creative development and production, managing day-to-day workflows, timelines, deliverables, and cross-agency coordination to ensure alignment to briefs and business objectives.
- Execute content creation, asset production, deployment, and maintenance of brand platforms and websites, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
- Partner with Product Experience (PX) for execution of new item support communications plans across channels.
- Develop, coordinate, and distribute key brand documents and communications materials (e.g., brand growth plans, campaign details, touchpoint inputs), ensuring alignment, completeness, and timely delivery across stakeholders.
- Support communications leadership through day-to-day coordination of activation plans, agency scope of work execution, exception requests, approvals, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.

- Support execution of commercial portfolio and retailer-facing plans, ensuring brand priorities are reflected in market activation while coordinating planning adjustments and cross-functional alignment when investment changes occur.
- Execute eCommerce and digital shelf strategies through PDP content updates, digital shelf deployment, SEO optimization, brand store enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of digital assets to ensure a consistent brand voice across platforms.
- Lead execution of shopper marketing initiatives in partnership with Shopper Marketing, including campaigns, key visuals, promotional assets, and consumer-facing materials aligned to approved brand and portfolio direction.
- Partner closely with Customer Development, Shopper Marketing, and cross-functional teams to coordinate activation plans, communications, and seamless execution across retail and digital touchpoints
- Help ensure consumer-facing outputs, digital content, and shopper-facing experiences align with brand standards, communications objectives, and the overall consumer experience strategy.
Business Management
- Supports monthly business planning process by providing communications effectiveness, media investment, ROI, media changes, new item communications, and changes related to category or competitive investment impacts to monthly business planning process.
- Support development of budget inputs for portfolio innovation and renovation, partnering across functions to gather, validate, and align new item investment assumptions with business priorities.
- Manage overall PFME budget including tracking and reporting for marketing campaigns and initiatives, monitoring spend against approved plans, identifying variances, and supporting effective investment management.
QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) in Marketing or related business field; or equivalent experience
- MBA preferred
- In-depth knowledge of brand building management principles and practices.
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills
- Ability to work independently, autonomously and adapt quickly to change to deliver results
- Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Basic financial acumen and understanding of calculating risk/return on business decisions.
- Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
CRITICAL EXPERIENCES
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field
- Experience developing strategic plans, such as communication campaigns or commercialization strategies.
- Proven track record in developing and executing high-impact brand campaigns and events.
- Experience leveraging data, research and trends to generate insights to understand consumer behavior (IRI or Nielsen knowledge strongly recommended)
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to develop creative/non-traditional solutions for challenging, undefined problems.
