Main Purpose of the Job: The Analyst, Business Optimization is a high visibility and influential role responsible for generating insights based on available data and turning those insights into actionable recommendations for the planning team. This role will also be responsible for creating weekly and monthly communications regarding COF (Cost of Failure) and inventory results that will be shared with senior leaders. Additionally, the Analyst will create reporting tools and work with the Supply Chain Analytics team to productionalize these tools for long-term sustainable reporting. This is a great opportunity for a to gain valuable cross-divisional experience within the Supply Planning organization and build essential analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Insights Generation:
• Analyze available data to generate insights and actionable recommendations for the planning team.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
• Maintain relationships with Supply Planning and Factory Supply Chain managers to stay aware of trends and
Communication and Reporting:
• Create and distribute weekly and monthly communications regarding COF and inventory results for senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure that communications are clear, concise, and provide actionable insights.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a professional and impactful manner.
Tool Development and Collaboration:
• Develop ad-hoc reporting tools to support data analysis and insights generation.
• Work with the Supply Chain Analytics team to develop tools and dashboards for long-term sustainable reporting.
• Ensure that tools are user-friendly and meet the needs of the planning team and other stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with analysts across supply chain and One Ops to discover cross-functional opportunities to share and generate insights.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Analytics team to improve and develop optimization tools.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Supply Planning organization.
Qualifications/Certifications:
• University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations experience.
• Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data.
• Excellent oral and written skills, organizational and time-management abilities, effective inter-personal skills, and the ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Flexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment.
• Takes the initiative to accomplish objectives and find opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ability to inspire and guide others toward goal achievement.
