PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain pricing catalogs, developing supplier performance scorecards and creating spend analysis reports.
  • Track and communicate savings achieved from cost reduction initiatives.
  • Understand business objectives to generate project information, action items, schedule, and deliverables for the team.
  • Provide recommendations on all procurement related issues, plans, reports, trainings and metrics.
  • Analyze industry trends and market competitions to develop business improvement initiatives.
  • Support opportunity assessments and benchmarking to develop sourcing opportunities.
  • Support the Procurement and Legal Teams in the administration of contract data, addendums, and additional supplier documentation.
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance around pricing, payment terms, volume commitments, rebates…etc.
  • Support risk management assessment relating to supplier vulnerability, sourcing options, and material availability.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Purchasing, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • 2-4 years of experience within procurement and/or Engineering

 

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:

  • Must be highly collaborative with stakeholders at the same location and across other Nestlé sites
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of techniques and processes involved in strategic sourcing.
  • Mathematical and reasoning skills required for proper analysis of bids, inclusive of differential pricing analysis and total cost of ownership
  • Excellent organizational skills including planning, standards of excellence, personal accountability, and managing self.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with experience in manipulating data within large database systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet analysis, using Excel.
  • 10-15% travel to Nestlé sites is required for events and administrative support is required
