Job Summary
This position will research unauthorized deduction and unearned cash discount trends/root causes, pursue repayment, as well as identify future mitigation opportunities. Associates will often collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve department KPI’s. Will be required to leverage Power Bi to manage unauthorized deduction portfolios effectively.
Primary Responsibilities
- Submit repayment requests via customer portals and/or emails. Internal and external follow-up discussion may be necessary to secure repayment.
- Perform root cause analysis of unauthorized deductions and unearned cash discounts to maximize repayment/mitigation achievements.
- Review internal processes to manage unauthorized deductions based on customer behavior and other internal and external information.
- Collaborate internally with Credit Management, Customer Facing Supply Chain, Business Service Centers, and Sales as needed to recover unauthorized deductions
- Build and maintain rapport with our external customers while acting as a liaison to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of required reports for management.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities using Nestlé Continuous Excellence methodology.
- Identify and pursue any potential automated solutions for current processes and ways of working. Solutions including, but not limited to Power Bi, AI Bots, etc.
Requirements and Minimum Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, ideally in Business, Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of industry skills and role experience.
- Availability/ flexibility to work different shifts based on customer geography/ time zone.
- Must be able to travel approximately 5-10% domestically, as needed
Experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in credit, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance preferred
- Experience in the CPG industry preferred
- SAP accounts receivable system experience preferred
- Microsoft Power Bi experience preferred
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data
- Well-organized, methodical thinker with excellent decision-making skills
- Strong and creative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Work well in a team-based environment, and interact cooperatively with internal and external customers
- Strong result-orientation
Salary: $45,051.30 to $65,083.00 per year
Bonus Eligibility: Yes
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
