POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for implementing Maintenance Foundations and the maintenance related elements of Nestlé Agile Operations Operating Model (NAOOMI) for the assigned Categories. Role will be key liaison between the Category Engineering, Hub Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Team, and Factory personnel. Role will have primary responsibility for coaching, training and assisting factories in executing the Nestle Maintenance Strategy at optimal cost.
Scope Includes: Maintenance Methodology: Implement PM Methodology, Training, Coaching and Assessment, including EFCA. Capability Building: Implement category focused maintenance packages and feedback to Zone and Technical Competency Unit to drive continuous improvement, Competency development. Asset Management: Asset master planning, restore or replace assessment, M&I budget preparation, Optimum spare parts management. Standards & Technology: Implement digital solutions, best practices, standardization implementation. Operation Support: Implement digital solutions, best practices, standardization implementation.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate, improve, and implement the Category maintenance strategy to deliver the category goals.

Provide clear alignment and regular reporting of team performance and progress to Corporate Engineering, Technical & Production Leadership, Zone Engineering HUB, and Global Maintenance organizations.

Ensure team objectives, priorities, and deliverables are aligned with the T&P Market roadmap and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Ensure Category maintenance team is meeting the factory and market needs for maintenance
-
Align Category strategy with Nestle Continuous Excellence implementation and global maintenance requirements.

Ensure factory visits are effective and focus on building competency.
-
Ensure processes and systems are properly documented and communicated to factories
-
Evaluate and develop the team to more effectively deliver business results.

Maintain expertise in all aspects of maintenance management and how they may apply to the strategy

Maintain strong knowledge of the market maintenance systems.

Leverage internal and external benchmarking to validate strategy effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and achieve best-in-class maintenance performance.

Demonstrate and promote Nestlé Leadership Behaviors, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and results-oriented execution.

Build credibility and relationships with factory personnel to be regarded as an asset and expert in Maintenance execution, gaining alignment and support for the strategy by factory personnel.

Build, improve and manage M&I budgets to deliver reliable equipment performance at optimal cost.

Develop competencies in the category to support the M&I objectives aligned with Nestle global initiatives.

Implement Market processes and tools with examples for maintenance systems as needed.

Implement Market Guidance documents to clarify issues in the market.

Execute training materials to address needs in the market and provide clarity on market needs.

Coach, Implement, Monitor and Adjust M&I strategy to drive sustainable business results for factory’s

Ownership of Maintenance system including PM pillar, AMM and maintenance structures.

Ensure programs and initiatives align with Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.

Maintain a good understanding of all facilities including which lines, processes and utilities are critical to the business and where failure can have an unacceptable impact on the business, safety, environment, or compliance with the law.

Champion, support and implement engineering tools such as PM, EM, AMM, EFCA, etc.
-
Implement best practices related to maintenance, processes, methods, organization, staffing, and skill levels.
-
Validate implementations in factories are in line with market systems and expectations of delivering results.

Ensure factories have effective action plans to address the losses. Be proactive in investigating any issues relating to non-compliance, major breakdowns, and non-conformance with key performance indicators.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Food Engineering or non-degreed with 20+ Years experience in the food, beverage, or consumer products industries.

7+ years experience in a technical field, preferable in food manufacturing or consumer goods industry, of which several years were as leader of the Maintenance function and/or Factory Engineer in a plant.
- Ability to travel at least 50% domestically.

Strong practical knowledge of PM systems, including successful implementation and its impact in TPM.
-
Experience leading a Maintenance Improvement Team in a factory environment.
-
Demonstrated ability in indirect leadership and influence strategy at all levels.
-
Knowledge of computerize maintenance management systems (CMMS), preferred knowledge of SAP Asset Management Module (AMM).

Intermediate skills in digital solutions including MS office, Power BI, Copilot
-
Demonstrated ability to effectively present and deliver content to various levels in an organization.

Strong written and verbal skills.
