Position Summary

The Workplace Solutions Manager role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Workplace Solutions services, employee campus experience, facility and stakeholder management, technology support and a high level of oversight and coordination associated with those areas. The services scope of this role includes primarily Facilities Management (both soft and hard services as well as service providers) Additional duties include special projects within Workplace Solutions. 

 

• Coordinate day to day operations of employee experience related service providers including but not limited to Customer Service, Catering, Dining Center and Pantry Operation providers
• Maintain a high level of responsibility for standards of customer service, appearance and employee experience on the campus 
• Ownership of day-to-day service delivery in line with established service levels 
• Resolve performance and quality issues, escalating to senior manager level where required, ensuring timely resolution and alignment to the Workplace strategy
• Actively participate in regular performance reviews with service providers and Procurement Business Partners
• Serve as a local company store liaison, directly supporting the service contract on inventory, pricing, invoicing, online ordering, and reporting with the Finance Manger and national store contact within Workplace Solutions. 
• Management of local facilities service teams for large campus events and employee customer service/ experience
• Strategize with department leads on current and future space needs
• Management of floorplans and seating with key stakeholders, maintain all seating data for the facility, update moves/adds/changes routinely
• Report on KPI’s for space utilization standards
• Ownership of specific safety requirements for ISO-45001, maintaining all files, standards and audit requirements for head office locations
• Manage and participate in all required internal audits for campus location, including internal and safety related audits
• Coordinate with building maintenance teams for repairs, updates and with the Design and Construction Team on small projects as needed
• Conduct meetings representing Workplace Solutions and Services. 
• Participating in Workplace Solutions team meetings and events with team members from all office locations
• Conduct large meetings representing Workplace Solutions with key stakeholders and department representatives for the campus
• Maintaining and preparing annual forecasts and budgets with service providers and vendors
• Coordination with other Operating Companies and functions on the Solon Campus
• Manage employee-facing customer service and personnel representing Workplace Solutions for timely resolution, professional level service and employee experience 
• Support campus conference room technology and planning directly with the audio-visual project manager’s needs
 
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree; equivalent experience defined as at least 10 years of relevant, professional level working experience in the same or similar field. 

 

EXPERIENCE:
• 7+ years in delivering Facilities Management and/or other critical service delivery operations
• Experience in management of third-party service providers 
• Experience in engaging key senior level stakeholders along with proven ability to influence and manage relationships with those stakeholders
