POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Reporting Lead is responsible for setting the strategic direction, development, and continuous optimization of reporting and analytics solutions to support the Credit and Collections department.  This role serves as a key partner to finance management, providing data for decision making, strengthening financial controls, and enhancing operational performance across the end-to-end AR process.

As the Lead, you will own the design, governance, and delivery of scalable reporting frameworks that provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights into all aspects of the AR portfolio.  The Lead provides standardized reporting for the regional collection teams, the UAD/UCD team, and the Admin team by delivering standardized tools that support daily collection activities, monthly performance tracking, and long-term strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include leading the development and maintenance of reporting solutions, and establishing controls to proactively identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies. This role acts as a central point of coordination for reporting enhancements, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to help streamline period end close reporting tools, reduce manual effort, and increase reporting efficiency.  The role also provides ad-hoc reporting that supports advanced analytics, departmental goals, internal and external audit requirements, and transformation initiatives.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead the development and optimization of reporting and analytics solutions that support Credit and Collection operations, daily and monthly collection activities, and period end close reporting.  Drive the transformation of data into actionable insights the enable informed decision-making and improved accounts receivable performance.
  • Establish and maintain documentation and governance standards for reporting tools, and data sources, ensuring transparency, consistency, and scalability across the reporting landscape.
  • Drive and support strategic reporting projects to deliver solutions that align with departmental goals and priorities.
  • Own the coordination and communication to resolve reporting, and data integrity issues.  Proactively monitor for irregularities, lead root cause analysis efforts, and escalate critical issues through appropriate channels to ensure timely resolution and sustained data accuracy.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or data analytics required.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated experience using, developing and blueprinting business
  • Intelligence tools is required, which include Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps and/or equivalents.
  • Accounts receivable experience preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Food industry experience a plus.

 

SKILLS:

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Co-Pilot, Excel, and data reporting systems (i.e. Snowflake), or equivalents is a requirement.
  • Ability to navigate large volumes of data and multiple data sources.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and business knowledge.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and requires little direct guidance.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. 
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple tight deadlines.
