Position Summary

 

The Lead, Operations Finance & Compliance is responsible for providing leadership, governance, and financial oversight across operational finance activities. This role ensures effective financial stewardship, compliance with internal controls, and operational excellence while driving business performance through data-driven insights, risk management, and continuous improvement.

The position serves as a key business partner across Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and other functional organizations to strengthen governance, improve visibility into financial and operational performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and support informed decision-making. Through strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and business partnership, this role helps deliver sustainable value, operational efficiency, and long-term business results.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Provide leadership and oversight across operational finance activities, ensuring effective governance, financial stewardship, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and develop team members by establishing clear objectives, providing coaching and feedback, supporting career development, and executing performance management processes.
  • Monitor operational and financial performance, leveraging data and analytics to identify trends, risks, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate operational and financial data into actionable insights and recommendations that improve business performance, strengthen compliance, enhance decision-making, and support financial objectives.
  • Establish and maintain effective controls, governance processes, and performance management practices that support operational excellence and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers to resolve complex issues, strengthen accountability, and improve service delivery and business outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives focused on process improvement, standardization, automation, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators, scorecards, and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into operational and financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve working capital, optimize costs, reduce risk, strengthen controls, and enhance overall business value.
  • Support strategic business initiatives and organizational priorities through strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and execution excellence.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence across the organization.

 

 

Education & Experience

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Operations, Compliance, Financial Analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Experience leading teams, projects, programs, or operational workstreams.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage analytics and business insights to improve performance and support decision-making.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience driving process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation initiatives preferred.

 

 

Skills

 

  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
  • Financial acumen with knowledge of business performance drivers, cost management, compliance, controls, and working capital principles.

Salary: $82,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
