Position Summary
This role will utilize a blended approach of analytics, strategy development, and leadership competencies to develop recommendations to solve a broad spectrum of Operational Supply Chain opportunities. You will be responsible for leading the analytics integration for the Supply Chain Planning and Procurement functions, including:
• Developing and overseeing functional specific analytics strategies for Supply Chain Planning and Procurement
• Ensuring the Supply Chain Analytics roadmap commitments deliver expected value on time
• Driving improved stakeholder satisfaction and alignment
• Increasing the integration and usage of solutions developed by the team
• Coaching and mentoring Developers
Responsibilities
• Oversee the team’s portfolio management process for SC Planning and Procurement
• Work closely with Manager, Leadership, Department Leads, and functional SME’s to develop and oversee targeted analytics roadmaps
• Manage the monthly alignment process between the Supply Chain Analytics team and Functional Leadership
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder requirements for prioritization, resource allocation, and clarity to project owner upon assignment
• Guide a group of Developers from use case concept to experimental design to industrialization / deployment to end users
• Responsible for overseeing the full development lifecycle, ensuring quality through testing, monitoring, and support.
• Collect ongoing feedback and initiate strategies for continuous improvement in the Team’s ways of working and end user consumer journey
• Develop plans for optimizing the BI platforms by determining how best to use existing data analytics, architecture, and technology
• Manage Special Projects, Pilots, Proof of Concepts, Ad-hoc projects
• Coach analysts around best practices, standards, and roadmap strategies
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics or a related field is required; Master’s degree is a plus
Experience
• 1+ years in an Analytics Manager, Analytics Lead, Lead Consultant, Product Owner, Product Manager, IT Project Coordinator, or a similar Lead role in a related field
• An additional 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing analytical models as an individual contributor is preferred
• Proven ability to create and manage a robust Project Portfolio and Delivery Roadmap within Analytics, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field
• Experience in a supervisor or mentorship type role
• Proven ability to optimize team processes and develop overarching strategies for stakeholder support improvement
• Experience with large implementations of new technologies, such as Azure, is a plus
Technical Skills
• Data Analytics and Business Intelligence concepts, including data architecture, data modeling, visualizations, etc.
• SQL skills; ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
• Experience with data visualization software like Power BI and Tableau
• Familiarity with advanced programming languages, such as R, Python, C / C++, Java, is a benefit
