Main Purpose of Job

Manage end-to-end Innovation and Renovation projects in NUSA by leading the cross-functional project teams with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for operational excellence. Ensure flawless and on-time execution of the divisional projects portfolio by engagement key stakeholders in decision making and escalations.

 

Project Management:

• Manages and control project scope, project timeline, project risks, driving definition of Innovation profile, gap assessment, and Key Success Criteria with Project Team.

• Lead the alignment of the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project with key stakeholders. Effectively control scope changes through proactive and open communication with stakeholders

• Preventive management of roadblocks and generation of risk mitigation plans.

• Drives organizational decision making and manages issue resolution and escalations to Decider(s) to resolve roadblocks the team cannot resolve on their own.

• Build and manage the project schedule, define the critical path, track activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed-upon deadlines, generate and communicate status reports, and escalate critical issues.

• Lead Stakeholders management and Communication management to cross functional team members, Project Management Lead and Decider(s) through effective networking with all relevant business partners and leadership team as needed.

• Responsible for the consistent application, execution, and continuous improvement of Nestlé's I&R processes and tools.

• Maintain and ensure data accuracy, deliverable completion, and documentation as specified by relevant policies and procedures across assigned projects. Provide leadership and guidance to other PMs in this area.

 

Portfolio Management

• Organize the I&R portfolio for the division by driving clarity, accuracy, and updates of the active and pipeline projects through effective and decision focus divisional review meetings and I&R meetings.

• Leads and directs the disciplined governance and planning of all I&R initiatives to deliver on organizational objectives and strategies

• Leads and facilitates the decision-making process with cross-functional leaders on portfolio, prioritization, and resourcing of I&R initiatives

 

Qualifications

Requirements & Minimum Education Level

• Minimum BA/BS required

• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred

 

Experience

• 7 years experience in project management or leading initiatives in a larger matrixed organization

• Preferred experience working across multiple disciplines: product development stage-gate process, business portfolio assessment, business modeling & forecasting, or R&D innovation strategy

• Prior CPG experience preferred

• Brilliant at the basics (time management, results focus, communication skills, organization skills)

• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently
