POSITION SUMMARY:

 

This role is a key business partner responsible for influencing and leading cross-functional teams to drive results that meet or exceed business objectives of Nestlé Professional North America.

  • Provide executive analysis and insight on key metrics along with recommendations to guide management decisions.

  • Partner with Nestle Professional cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.

  • Identify best practices and manage business improvement projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A team.

 

The Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

Financial Reporting, Planning, and Analysis:

  • Lead the monthly and annual planning process; including annual 3 year strategic plan.

  • Prepare and deliver executive presentation of financial information for local and zone management.

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication before, during and after monthly planning process while monitoring necessary execution of action plans.

  • Track and communicate risks and opportunities; recommend actions to capitalize opportunities and mitigate risks.

  • Work collaboratively with Sales Finance, Operations Finance, Finance Co-Pilots and Decision Support teams to forecast future costs and drive improved business results.

  • Manage and lead analysis resulting in insights on key performance indicators to support Finance organization and Nestlé Professional business objectives.

 

Management Support and Other Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial and operational processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

  • Promote financial awareness and understanding across Finance.

  • Act as the Finance Co-Pilot to support all Nestlé Professional reporting.

  • Special projects.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • B.A. in Finance or Accounting required.

  • MBA, CPA or equivalent experience preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7-10 years finance experience, FP&A experience is preferred.

  • Division co-piloting preferred.

 

SKILLS:

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical skills/problem solving.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Critical Thinking.

  • Ability to drive change.

  • Strong Business acumen.

  • Thorough understanding of accounting standards and internal control.

  • Computer skills/system expertise (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Hyperion Essbase).

  • Ability to work in a team environment; both local and global.

  • P&L Process and financial procedures.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver first time quality within deadlines.
