Position Summary
The Finance Manager position supports our Supply Chain Function across Nestle USA. This high visibility role is expected to provide thought leadership, question the status quo, and proactively challenge teams to accelerate their initiatives from idea to execution. The role must have strong communication skills, cross-functional team experience, and be results-focused with minimal supervision. The individual must be able to effectively interact, collaborate, and communicate across multiple functions in the organization and cooperate and build consensus to drive results. The position will plan, prioritize, and manage workload in an environment of competing priorities to support timely and sound decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Works proactively to drive improved performance, identify and realize cost savings & working capital reduction projects, as well as strategic network optimization initiatives.
- Coordinates and oversees activities related to the monthly financial close.
- Provides timely and accurate management reporting of actual performance versus plan, latest DF, as well as initiatives to improve results.
- Works collaboratively with other SC team members to drive continuous process improvement.
- Leads the financial planning and forecasting process for various supply chain costs.
- Provides transparency of savings to senior management. Ensures functional areas follow established productivity processes and information reporting is accurate. Ensures compliance with Nestle Accounting Standards and Costing Standards.
- Accurate and timely tracking of savings versus plan.

- Financial acumen within Supply Chain Operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years with background in F&C or co-piloting – supply chain background a plus.
- Proven track record working in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a strategy and manage end-to-end projects.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others and drive teamwork.
- Costing standards, accounting, and proven understanding of financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet).
- Analysis, forecasting, budgeting experience.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Experience and comfort with presentations to groups and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex situations by presenting information in a concise and effective manner.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing projects and deadlines.
- SAP or other ERP experience.
- Essbase and Oracle experience a plus.
