Our Nestlé Research and Development Center in Konolfingen (NRDK), Switzerland, develops for Nestlé worldwide, new products, processes and packaging concepts in the areas of Milk, plant-based and Nutrition products. This includes various process and filling technologies for liquid, powder or sterile products. In addition, it also provides technical assistance and engineering support for major Capital Investment Projects (CAPEX) for our factories.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Manufacturing Principal based in our Cleveland area Nestle location, you will be responsible for process and technology development within Dairy Culinary Solutions. In this role, you will drive innovation and optimize manufacturing processes across our factories. Your solid understanding and hands-on experience with both can and aseptic filling technologies will ensure effective integration of process improvements and technology deployments, supporting the delivery of high-quality dairy and culinary products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, deploy, and optimize new process technologies in Dairy Culinary Solutions
  • Contribute to R&D product and process development projects
  • Provide technical support for process, recipe, and filling line improvements
  • Propose and deliver technical and scientific support for projects
  • Manage knowledge building and project activities, including team training
  • Present results and methods to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s (required), Master’s degree preferred in food technology, food engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 plus years’ experience overall with at least 2-3 in liquid dairy or culinary processing
  • Hands-on expertise in can and aseptic filling
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
  • Good interpersonal skills with a strong sense of business and technical interrelationships
  • High level of autonomy to drive initiatives
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages beneficial
