Position Summary

This position partners with the T&P (Technical & Production) Leadership Team on operational and financial strategies and activities to achieve functional performance goals. You will partner with the VP of Finance for T&P on cost improvement strategies, risk management and financial KPI delivery for T&P, deputizing for the VP finance as needed. Additionally, this role will provide transparency to all finance activities associated with manufacturing across all the NUSA (Nestlé USA) divisions. 

 

Responsibilities:
Strategic Evaluations:
•    Ensure full transparency of costs and financial impact to the organization or strategic decisions 
•    Generate commentary and insights for CTO and CFO based on monthly performance  
•    Establish and track bonus targets and key objectives e.g., Conv Cost per ton, operational costs, fixed factory overheads  
•    Partner with VP of Finance for T&P to evaluate and drive optimization across the different functions and divisions 
•    Participate and evaluate restructuring projects and ensure robust financial justifications
•    Drive cross category projects e.g., SKU Rationalization
 

People Development
•    Plays an active role in people development and succession planning T&P finance and Factory Finance
•    Champion a culture of business excellence within T&P, especially within the T&P Finance team and Factory Finance 
•    Coach and develop direct and indirect team members
•    Partner with HR, VP of Finance for T &P and Ops Controllers on people move activities (Manager and below roles) within T&P Finance and Factory Finance
•    Promote clear understanding of financial key figures and costing within the function, including organizing training sessions for non-specialists
 

Business Planning:
•    Standardize monthly reporting and analytics methodology 
•    Generate and maintain monthly reporting packages for T&P Leadership Team (TPLT) 
•    Generate Monthly Cost Center reporting and review with TPLT 
•    Manage Cost Center Budgeting process with TPLT
 

Requirements:
•    BA/BS with major or minor in Accounting or Finance, or BA/BS degree with coursework up to and including intermediate accounting 
•    Must be willing to travel 10-15% 
•    Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in Accounting/Finance 
•    Minimum 3-4 years people management experience required 
•    Sustainable performance in finance, supply chain and or customer service function
•    Participation in local efficiency and best practice projects 
•    Factory Finance Experience, preferably as a Factory Controller
